20-Minute Chili Lime Flank Steak

Quick and easy chili lime flank steak recipe that delivers amazing flavor in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, chili powder, olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
  3. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  7. Remove from grill, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • This recipe serves 4-6 people.
  • For extra heat, add cayenne pepper to the marinade.
