  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

  • These donuts are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for a few days in an airtight container.
