Baklava Pistachio Cheesecake

A delicious fusion of traditional Baklava and rich cheesecake, this Baklava Pistachio Cheesecake will delight your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 cup phyllo dough, thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter and honey; mix well.
  3. Layer phyllo dough in a greased baking dish, brushing each layer with the butter mixture.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pistachios between the layers of phyllo.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Stir in lemon juice and pour the cream cheese mixture over the phyllo crust.
  8. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until set and golden.
  9. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
