Benihana Fried Rice

This easy homemade Benihana Fried Rice recipe features delicious turkey bacon and is sure to become a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  2. Sauté the onions in the remaining fat until translucent.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook until heated through.
  4. Push the mixture to one side of the pan and pour in the eggs, scrambling until cooked.
  5. Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped bacon, and green onions, mixing thoroughly.
  6. Cook for an additional few minutes until heated through, then serve.

Notes

  • For best results, use day-old rice.
  • Feel free to add any other vegetables you like.
