Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and allow it to brown slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  8. In a separate bowl, combine cocoa powder, powdered sugar, eggs, and vanilla for the brownie layer.
  9. Layer the cookie dough and brownie mixture in a baking dish.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
