Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool before frosting.
  9. For the frosting, mix powdered sugar with milk until desired consistency is reached, then spread or pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
