  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Drain the pickle slices and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each pickle slice into buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
