  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. Add olive oil, onion, and garlic to the pot, sauté until softened.
  3. Add broccoli, chicken broth, and seasonings. Bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and cheese. Cook until cheese is melted and broccoli is tender.
  5. Serve hot, topped with chopped turkey bacon.
