Creamy Roast Garlic

A delightful and simple creamy roast garlic recipe featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 bulb garlic
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the top off the garlic bulb and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Wrap the garlic in foil and roast for 30-35 minutes.
  4. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  5. Add the chicken ham to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes.
  6. Once the garlic is done, squeeze the cloves into a bowl and mash with heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  7. Combine the mashed garlic mixture with the sautéed meats.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, substitute half and half for heavy cream.
  • Feel free to add other herbs for more flavor.
