  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  2. Place the brioche slices in a shallow dish and pour the egg mixture over them. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. While the bread is soaking, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Cook the soaked brioche slices until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Serve the French toast topped with turkey bacon and a sprinkle of additional sugar if desired.
