Delicious Grandma’s Thanksgiving Stuffing Recipe

A delicious stuffing recipe that combines turkey bacon and traditional flavors for a perfect Thanksgiving side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf bread, cubed
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onion and celery, cooking until soft.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cubed bread, turkey bacon, cooked onion and celery, chicken broth, and spices. Mix well.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add diced apples or nuts to the stuffing.
  • Can be prepared a day in advance and baked before serving.
