Easy Sesame Chicken

A simple and delicious recipe for sesame chicken that is easy to make at home.

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the chicken with the marinade.
  5. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry and add it to the skillet.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and green onions on top before serving.
