Easy Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

An easy and delicious recipe for stuffed bell peppers using turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then add the ground turkey, onion, and garlic, cooking until the turkey is browned.
  4. Stir in the rice, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  5. Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers and place them upright in a baking dish.
  6. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.

Notes

  • Try adding different vegetables or spices according to your taste.
  • For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños.
