A delicious and easy-to-make casserole that combines the flavors of French onion soup with chicken and orzo.

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the onions until caramelized.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sautéed onions, chicken, orzo, beef broth, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes, remove foil, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
