  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink.
  3. Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Spread the beef mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Pour diced tomatoes over the top and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
