Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks

Delicious Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks with a twist of turkey bacon for added flavor.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same skillet, add ground beef, onion, and green bell pepper. Cook until meat is browned.
  3. Add garlic powder and chopped turkey bacon; mix well.
  4. Toast hoagie rolls slightly, then fill each with the beef mixture.
  5. Top with provolone cheese and let melt before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some hot sauce to the meat mixture.
  • Serve with fries or a side salad.
