  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the sausage over medium heat until cooked through.
  2. Add onion and garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and seasonings.
  4. Bring to a boil, then add lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
  5. Lower heat and mix in ricotta cheese until melted.
