  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, food coloring, vanilla, cocoa powder, and salt; mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead until dough is smooth.
  4. Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out dough, spread butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Roll tightly and cut into rolls.
  7. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let cool before serving.
