- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon red food coloring
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, egg, food coloring, vanilla, cocoa powder, and salt; mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until dough is smooth.
- Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out dough, spread butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll tightly and cut into rolls.
