A delicious low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak using turkey bacon.

  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • 4 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add onions and bell peppers. Sauté until softened.
  3. Cook turkey bacon in a separate pan until crispy.
  4. Layer sliced turkey bacon over each portobello mushroom, followed by sautéed veggies and provolone cheese.
  5. Bake mushrooms in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
