  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 strips bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix in the cream cheese until melted.
  5. Add beef broth and sour cream, stirring to combine.
  6. Fold in the cooked macaroni and half of the cheddar cheese, mixing until the pasta is coated in the sauce.
  7. Top with the remaining cheese and crispy bacon. Serve hot.
