Mango Slaw

A vibrant and refreshing mango slaw that adds a burst of flavor to your summer barbecues.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, diced mango, red bell pepper, cilantro, and red onion.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss to combine.
  4. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • This slaw can be made a few hours in advance. Just keep it chilled until serving.
