Reuben Balls are a delectable twist on the traditional Reuben sandwich, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham for a juicy delight.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, turkey bacon, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined, then form into balls about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with additional mustard for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, include some caraway seeds in the mixture.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
