- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for wash)
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the sweet potatoes, thyme, rosemary, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the sweet potatoes are tender.
