  • 2 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  3. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the sweet potatoes, thyme, rosemary, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the sweet potatoes are tender.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into circles. Place the mixture onto half of the circles, then fold and seal them.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
