Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the garlic, butter, soy sauce, pepper, salt, and beef broth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the roast in the slow cooker.
  4. Add fresh thyme on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
