- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 24 Hershey’s Kisses chocolates
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Make a small indentation in each ball and fill with a bit of strawberry jam.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For a more intense strawberry flavor, you can use fresh strawberries in place of jam when in season.
