Sweet Potato & Cranberry Gratin

A delicious blend of sweet potatoes and cranberries baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer sweet potatoes and cranberries in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Pour the mixture over the sweet potatoes and cranberries.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider sprinkling some chopped nuts on top before baking.
  • This dish can be served warm or at room temperature.
