A quick and easy recipe for beef lo mein that brings a flavorful twist to your weeknight dinners.

  • 8 ounces lo mein noodles
  • 1 pound beef, sliced thin
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  5. Add bell peppers and broccoli. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Stir in cooked lo mein noodles and green onions. Toss everything together and serve hot.
